I just went brawler and I'm decideing between Monk and Bruiser. Ok, here is the information on bruiser and berserker. By the way the below posts are from other people who wrote them.

Goods and Bads of Bruisers!
Good:
1) You are able to "Off Tank." This means you can provide the same buffs that a tank could provide, to the entire group. Thank God you're not just a Kicka-- DPS machine!
2) Ability to peel mobs. The Bruiser has an exceptional ability to prevent mobs from attacking other characters by giving the mobs some MEAN AGGRO.
3) Feign Death. This ability, while not so practical in earlier levels, becomes important when large groups are being pulled. This can provide an Aggro group with an alternative target. It could save an entire group.
4) Soloability. The Bruiser is as competent at bashing things alone as in a group.
5) You;re an evil Monk! Instead of healing and doing HOLY things, you crush and destroy things and a matter of principle!
6) Your body is your best weapon. While some professions rely on weapons, your talents revolve around your physical prowess.

Bad:
Are you kidding? With so much good, there IS NO BAD!!

Instead of talking about how to get a certain skill of "StUpIdItY" let's get on to what we really want. Hints and tips on how to be the best Berserker!

The best types of Berserkers start out with A LOT OF DEFENCE AND HEALTH!!!!! Most of the classes like that are: Iskar, Troll, Ogre, Barbarian, and Kerra. Personal best for Freeport 'Zerkers would be Iskar. Loaded with defence, and even a racial tradition for a buff on defence.

Solo: Hit on with as many HOs as you can. The main point to do doing this is to watch your power. You never want it to go under half-way unless you know that you will win. The reason for this is that most Berserkers tend to....lose focus on the bloodshed of the match and require themselves to be heroic and "fight to the end." The reason why Berserkers need a lot of defence to start with, and maybe not have much strength to start with either,...(Iskar)... is because you have abillities to drain a large chunk of your defence to gain huge amounts of damage. For most 'Zerkers, the person playing them will want full power and choose a class like human. It is fully balanced in every way POSSIBLE in this game. That is WRONG IN SO MANY WAYS!!! The strength is even. Let's say even is 0. All of the human's stats are 0. When you lower defence for offence, your defence will be about -5 while your strength will still only be at 3 or if you're lucky 4. Defence is the key into this Fighter. That is how they fit in as a Tank.

Group: Most to all of your attacks are very fast cast, and some of your buffs raise your attack speed. Due to that, you will be able to attack your enemies at a much quicker rate, and in doing so, gaining a HUGE ammount of Aggro. If the Aggro goes bad, and your Enchanter goes a little overboard with his "Ego Shock", that is the only time to use your power for taunts. You probobly will not need many taunts. You could probobly just keep your latest-to-date taunt on the backside of your bar.
Another good point to the Berserker in grouping is that he can play two roles, and play themm VERY well. He can pick damage dealer (As explained above) or Tank (Same as above). Being able to hit so fast, with so much damage and still being able to take hits is the key to the Berserker. Being able to take more and more Aggro with each hit is the key to switching from damage dealer to tank in less than 3 seconds.

Ok, now that you have a better idea of the two classes from the posts above, in my opinion Bruiser is better. One your a evil monk (which means loads of dps), you can off tank just as good as a fighter class. You get buffs to help yourself and group just like a fighter class. You can fd, which is good if you are pulling and to many mobs come so you don't get your group killed. Yes berzerkers have nice dps, but there are so many nice abilites you get as being a monk class that other fighter types don't get. So it really depends on what you want to be.

Some of your soloing tips on berserker is way wrong.

Str is the primary stat for soloing. Sta is only important for grouping when you are taking on yellow and above heroic mobs. For a berserker, mitigation > str > sta > everything else. Your combat art damage is directly link to str. Having 50 extra sta is not as useful as 50 extra str when soloing. Human has 2 traits in boosting defence too. No race makes the best berserker. All are the same. Berserker is very dependent on gear and combat arts. When soloing, you will use offensive stance almost all the time. Defensive stance is mainly for group when taking on heroic mobs. Also you never ever need to conserve power when soloing. I've consistently win against 4 yellow con with hp in red and power at 30% in offensive stance. Even won against 8 heroic no arrow green con with power to spare. Without those offensive stance ae proc, you have less chance of winning against group mobs especially those with healer and casters that can nuke and dot you to dead no matter how much hp you have. When soloing go str and use offensive stance. None of the fighters class including the monk and bruiser has as many AE combat arts as berserker. The bad part is you'll have to level up to 30 to get all those nice AE combat arts. At 30 you have 2 AE on different timer (damage multiple encounter), offensive stance that proc AE damage on 3 mobs, a buff that can proc damage on attacker and a taunt that do AE damage to encounter. In short, berserker is what warlock is in among the mage classes. You cannot take on very hard hitting mob but you excel when it comes to group encounter. On 4 mobs, when 1 is dead the other 3 usually are already in orange health.
