...and on the day that this goes live, I will have been playing for exactly one month. Does that make me a 1-day subscriber, or a 1-month subscriber? Does it count the free month? =^_^=

If you have been on since launch, I would surmise you qualify for each category. Good thing I get a bag to put it all in.

I wonder if the exp bonus potions stack...? :)

As with the EQ1 Loyalty Bonuses, I'd be willing to bet any sum of money that the bonuses stack. If you've been in since launch, you get it all. Of course, if you're a Launchie, a 12-slot bag probably isn't anything special for you... can I have yours? =^_^=

I'm sure that there are a lot of players who are eying that Respec Stone hungrily.

To clear up some questions, this was posted on SOE boards:

It appears there is some confusion concerning the upcoming Veteran Rewards system that is part of Live Update #16. I'll attempt to answer the following questions in this post:

* How do we calculate how much time counts toward your Veteran Rewards?
* What happens if you converted to Station Access after being subscribed normally, and your account activation time changed?
* Will I be able to get the gifts for past months when the system goes live?
* How many times can you /claim the gifts?
* Are the experience bonus potions permanent?

How do we calculate how much time counts toward your Veteran Rewards?
The amount of time you are entitled to is determined by the number of days your subscription has been active in total. This is cumulative, so for every day your subscription is active, it adds a day to your total number of active days. This applies to accounts using both the standard subscription as well as Station Access. If you deactivate your account, any days that the account was deactivated will simply not count toward your total.

Example: If you were subscribed for 3 months, unsubscribed for 2 months, and subscribed again for 3 months, you would be considered a 6 month veteran.

What happens if you converted to Station Access after being subscribed normally, and your account activation time changed?
The total amount of time that your account was active either as a standard account or Station Access account will count toward your total time. It doesn't matter if the creation date changed when you switched over to Station Access.

Example: If you had a standard EQII account for 6 months and switched to Station Access for the next 6 months, you would be entitled to a year.

Will I be able to get the gifts for past months when the system goes live?
You will be able to /claim any rewards that you were eligible for in the past when the Veteran Rewards system goes live.

Example: If your account has been active for 1 year when this goes live, you'll receive the gift for 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year.

How many times can you /claim the gifts?
Veteran Rewards can be claimed on up to 3 characters per account, so be sure which characters you want to have access to these items.

Are the experience bonus potions permanent?
The Adventure and Tradeskill potions will not be permanent. I'd rather not go into numbers as far as duration and such are concerned, as these numbers are still being adjusted internally before we go live with the rewards.

That should take care of most of the questions I've seen so far. If I see any other hot ones, I'll try to get them answered as well.

Nice. I can claim up to three per account.

I was one of those that lost on on my veteran rewards on EQLive when I converted two of my 4 yr+ old accounts to Station Access. I had been enjoying the rewards and then they were gone. I really miss them and wish there were someway to get them back.

I have only played EQ2 with Station Access since April so I guess that means I have the 6 month reward. It would be nice if they did it like they did with EQLive and gave you all of the items up to your full time. But I am just thrilled to get the rewards.

Knowing SOE the bag will prolly be LORE - NO-TRADE -NO-VALUE NO-DESTROY and prolly not filled with rares :P

12 slot bag is indeed nothing i will use, hell i could run around with chests on me if I wasnt so lazy :P

But some of the items there will be nice to get :)

Wonder where the best place to use fireworks be ? I vote a no on Zek, but I think that Sinking Sands would look good. And definately Everfrost...

I only see one problem with this. I am assuming november 9th is the actual day the game came out cuz I dont remember but I preordered from sony the colectors edition of the game. That eneded up coming in about a week after the game was released. That would make me miss some of the rewards wont it?

As far as i understand it, you would get your 1 year reward 1 week after the launchies...if not, why would they put rewards for 24 months of play ?

I think you will just have to /claim your stuff on the day you created your account.

Correctimundo... the program is ongoing so the rewards will all become available as you pass the date for each reward.
