Adept 2 & 3 PetsFollow

#1 Oct 27 2005 at 1:19 PM Rating: Decent
How?... is my question. I'm a lvl 13 Summoner--> Nec route with the Flying Tick, Lice, Crab, June Bug...etc. I run across this other Summoner--> but his pet is a spider. I prefer the spider. It looks much more intimidating than my flying tick. The spider bites his enemies to death while, I assume, my flying tick kills his with lime disease. Not very spectacular. How do I upgrade my Bug or could someone tell me where to find the spells..etc.

Appreciate it..

You have to either buy the spells or make them through tradeskilling. I've made my Adept III pet, but it cost me a bundle: the primary raw component for the special ink to make the spell is a rare drop that runs about 2g.

Well, if you want to be "all the Necro you can be" you absolutely need to get the Adept 3 version of each pet. The better versions do much more that just look cooler, they are much more powerful. I am not into the tradeskilling yet, so I have no idea how to make them myself, so I save every copper I make until I can afford to buy them. On Venekor now, my level 24 pet (warrior) Adept3 is going for 15-20g.
However, I was checking this thread in the hopes that I would find out how to make the spells myself, as I would like to try my hand at tradeskilling, for something new. I noticed that noone seemed to be any help in that department. Is there any resource that I could go to for recipes, required components, or just a basic tradeskill guide? I worked my TS to lvl 9 on the island, but have not been back to that grind since leaving the island. Maybe could help us out with some actual useful information..

I see that for you, "Antagonize" isn't just a character name but also a mode of communication! Anyway,

Has all the information you will ever need on the subject.

I could tell you how to make the spells but then I'd have to kill you... :-)

I personally go with adept 3 on the tank pets but I usually settle for adept 1 on the DPS pets. Main reason for this is I don't depend on DPS pets to keep agression while I solo (or have it offtank) as where my tank pet needs every hitpoint and every bit of better taunt as it can get.

Its shame what Masters run when a pet spell drops. You can pretty much name your price and somebody will buy it if you get a Master pet spell drop.

The look of the pet changes throughout the leveleling process. It does not matter whether you have and aprentice one or Adept III pet. I have a 70 Necro and all I can tell you that the tanking pet changes looks when you get the new tanking pet at a higher level. Next one is your warlock pet pretty ugly lol but it also will change once you reach the level for your new replacemen. I certainly recommend the Adept III for each pet (preferable Master) since these pets are your bread and butter.:-)
