Intelligence for PriestFollow

#1 Oct 04 2005 at 11:34 AM Rating: Decent
I know the more wisdom the greater the power, however, does having items with int. do anything or add to firepower of spells? My question is, I guess, does a priest need int.? Thanks in advance.

I have been wondering this same thing. I was just picking up int as a secondary stat just cuz im a caster but since the patch and the persona window just has it listed for power for mages I wonder if it is worth anything for me or if I should focus on something else for my secondary stat.

Supposedly, post LU #13, we are now partially dependent on int for the amount of damage done by our nukes. So, any given detremental spell at any given level of quality will now do more damage if you boost your int.

I have not had the time to thoroughly test this out but I'm workin on it... (been having way too much fun with my ranger to play the warden much!)

You only need INT if you are a Fury. Bottom-line. None of the other healing classes do enough damage to worry about it, however I keep my Int and Wis balanced about 280 a piece. I'd rather have 400 int and 300 wis than 400 wis and 300 int, any day.

Interesting concept... you must mention that to my lvl 44 warden who solos a lot and kills just about as fast as my ranger! (and he is no slouch in the solo game)

Seriously, I think that was a bone headed comment. And kind of snobbish especially if you're speaking as a fury. I think any class could benefit from a stat that would increase their damage output... upon refelection, don't you?
