Which race for Scout ClassesFollow

#1 Sep 19 2005 at 2:29 PM Rating: Decent
Sorry for posing this again, I clearly understand that any race can be a scout class. What I would like to know is what stats are most important to a scout. I assume that Agi is very important, are there others I should be paying attention to. For instance, does strength make any difference in backstab damage. Also, are there races that have a particular disadvantage as a scout. Thanks.

I picked a half elf, which seems to be a fairly good choice, as they're not quite as weak as some of the other more agile races. Surprisingly, the barbarian stats seem like they would do well as a scout also. Their agility is quite respectable, plus they have the extra strength and stamina of the larger races.

Can anyone confirm this?

Overall stats from your race do not have a huge impact on your game. They can help raise some low stats, so can some of the racial abilities, but later on your gear is more important.

As a scout you will need

agi for accuracy/power/avoidance.
str for damage and carring capacity.
sta for HP
int if you are a bard for spell damage
wis for resistances if wanted.

In groups you want as much str as possible, solo I would say agi. The rest is up to you, at 42 buffed up I have about 150 str, 230 agi, 80-90 sta, and 100+ int.

I do miss my my sta buff and 65% avoidence though.
