Changes to Wards with LU#13Follow

Ok so here is the problem. I play with a group of regular friends. We were a pretty efficient trio group. I play the Defiler, while my friends play a guardian and a wizard. The issue is before LU#13, I would Ward the Tank and have him go in, no problem with that gave him time to get hate of the group and all was cool. Now with the changes I ward pre-fight like normal and he goes in and all the mobs run to me. Is this because they apply hate to me from the ward, even if it was cast pre-fight?

Just another noob on the block.

That's basically how it works now. When wards absorb damage then hate is applied to the caster of the ward instead of the recipient of the ward. The hate is proportionate to the amount of damage absorbed. Keep in mind too that one of our buffs has a regenerating ward effect to it now too, instead of the buff being eaten when the ward damage was taken.

So now I have to wait to apply the Ward after the tank has gain hate. This information helps me out greatly.

The hate generated by wards was reduced in a subsequent patch. I don't know if it is as it was before LU13, but it's not as bad as it was immediately after LU13.
