I'm a soon to be FFXI cross-over to EQ2, hoping that is plays somewhat similar to EQOA (yeah I know... PS2 version of a computer game but ehh). But I have a question about my computer.

I got EQ2 after buying a new computer $275 after mail-in rebate ^.^)b, but found out (on the 9th disc of installing to be exact) I need 274 more Meg. Apparently also some pixel shader vision, I guess I have "0x0000" when I need "0x0101".

If they are any computer pros out there who can type back some info about this (I know about getting more Meg., but the pixel shader confuses my wee lil' head) that would be great. Plus I would love to reincarnate my beloved Troll Shadowknight Jeagermeister again T.T

The 274 meg problem is more then likly main memory, but the pixel shade is a video problem or lack of a feature.

What are the stats on your machine?

As in Cpu speed, main memory, video card. Compair those to the ones on the side of the box and see where you stand. You may need a comp overhaul of your system to run EQ2.
