My Dwarven Work Boots are suddenly asking me if I want them mounted. What does this mean? Why should I want a pair of boots mounted?
You have 3 choices with all Heritage items - wear them, sell them or mount them and place in your room as a trophy.
I just completed the Dwarven Workboots quest as well and was surprised when I examined them in my room and it asked me the same question. I chose no, because the boots are better than what I have now. I began to wonder though, if I had chosen to mount them instead, would it have been a permanent decision or could I later pull them off the wall and reuse them as an equipable item?
As far as I know, all the mountable items can be unmounted and used for whatever else, whenever else you desire! You are never "stuck" with your first decision... or your second... or your third...
Yes, you can unmount any item you've mounted.
Im not gonna lie...I'm kinda wondering where this thread is going. Items being "mounted?"
