Lucky Rabbit Foot (??)Follow

#1 Aug 19 2005 at 8:19 AM Rating: Decent
Hello I am a new player to EQ2 and looted this in one of the newbie zones (sorry I don't remember what zone or mob). What is says on this Item is...

Looted curiosity treasure: This lucky rabbit foot was not so lucky for the rabbit.

class: all
weight: 0.0

My question is dose anybody know what this item dose if anything, where can the stats or any info about this item be found? I have looked all over EQII and EQ sites and have found nothing. I did see one of these items for sale on another char for over 1pp.I f anyone knows anything about this or links where to find it please let me know. Thanks for any help

I have looted several "treasures" that range from a shard of Mar, to a seared cog. THey sell to vendors for anywhere from 10s to 1g (the cog).

THe rabbits foot selling for 1pp sounds like someone trying to get lucky with someone clicking buy by mistake.

You could hold onto it for a while to see if anything comes about, or sell it for some profit.

Tutan is right. All of the "Looted ______ Treasure" is vendor trash. As of now, they serve absolutely no purpose except to sell for some coin.

On a side note, if they were really a treasure, wouldn't you think the vendors would pay more than 5cp for the lower level ones? Smiley: oyvey

A few weeks back, SOE removed most of the body parts and "gross" items from corpses and replaced them with items of like value that would have less negative impact on our impressionable young minds!

So now, a zombie is less likely to shed a "clump of maggots" and more likely to drop a "lucky rabbits foot". Me thinks "A rose by any other name"... would still be vendor trash!

Bottom line on stats is examine the item, if none show there, then the item does not possess any. Continuing to search beyond this point is counter-productive!

And finally, your 1pp player-merchant might also be less of an opportunist and more of a front for a plat seller... just a thought...

But I can't get myself to get rid of the Shard of Mar. I mean, c'mon, who would sell a piece of the moon? :)

Ummm... wouldn't a "Shard of Luclin" be a piece of the moon? I think you found a chunk of Nathaniel!

On a similar note, in RL, I have a piece of the Berlin Wall that I am very fond of... just sayin'...

It should be Mithanial Marr.

Don't make me link the Tome of Destiny again. I'll do it. I'm crazy like that!
