I'm trying to get 4 City Writs done in Edgewater Drains which require killing mobs of level 27-30, typically ^^ in the lowest level of Edgewater.

I'll be on shortly after the server resets [7am PST or 2pm GMT] if anyone's interested in helpding a Defiler fulfil her guild duties ^ ^.

-------------- Thanks anyway but ------------

.... manage to to them thanks to Kera, a level 30 brigand in Renown. Using group stealth and evac, we managed to duo everthing that was needed. If we had a 3rd member in our party [preferably a chanter], this would've been a Breeze. But finding a 2nd member for your party in Edgewater is like finding a chest with Boostrutter's quest starter. Unplanned and unexpected.

Asphe,
Writs that involve killing ^^'s may be too hard and not worth the effort. Long battle, may not win, etc... But uf you can get a group, then it should be a breeze.

I always pick up the same 4 writs (2 for Everfrost, 2 for Lavastorm) and they are for mobs that are con green, some grey. Very easy, fast, and above all, repeatable. :)

You can always delete them and get new ones with no penalty. I stand at my writ givers for several minutes and Hail-Decline until they offer the writs I'm looking for.

It is important to note, though, that once you start a writ (i.e. you have killed one mob already), if you delete it, you will be penalized.

Really? I was not aware of that. How much is the penalty?

I knew I should have edited that post. If I would have edited it, it would have said:

One of my guildmates informed me that if you...

That is what I should have said. I have never actually tried it and don't really plan on it. All I can do is assume.

AFAIK, no penalty for deletion.

----------

I am doing the writs [and believe me, for THESE writs.. ONLY ONCE] so I'll have them in my Journal's Completed roster. To give you an idea of how difficult these writs are....

The Sea Serpents [rated level 26] has you fight level 26-28 ^^ Sewage Serpents. This is a writ for players between levels 24 and 30. And these snakies are tough! There's simply no way you can solo any of these without extraordinary luck. And it gets worse, the next writs in the list [total of 4] are rated levels 26, 27 & 28 BUT the mobs for each are even deeper, forcing you to not only clear your way to them but also having to deal with ads.

In my experience, These writs are the 2nd most irritable quest to date. The most irritable being the quest to kill 'nightfall giants'... Yes I know where I can find 'Nightfall Giants' but the quest needs 'nightfall giants'

I HOPE that there really are 'nightfall giants' in Nektulos Forest and the reason why I can't complete this quest is not because the silly mobs are named 'Nightfall' instead of 'nightfall'

That would be horrible, that would be SOE.
