Can I be a provisioner?

Sure! As far as I'm concerned, the job is yours!

Has there been an day/time set for us to get together?

Not that I know of but I still vote for Tuesday night... or Sunday evening...

Is the guild formed yet? Who do I see about joining?

Not yet, I think we're all waiting to clear the lvl 10 class quests and maybe hit 11 or 12 first. Doesn't mean we can't group unguilded though.

Sorry I can't remember who, but someone here set up a channel for us in chat, (/join alla?), so we should all be able to find one another. On a side note, I'm only lvl 7 and already getting blind guild/group invites... /sigh

OBD would be a fine choice, but we could probably have several officers capable of management functions.

New issue (not sure if it's been covered):

New members to the guild? Do we also want to invite good players we see while exploring on our own? Or do we want to stay with just the Alla-Band-of-Brothers (ABOB)?

I am really not the guy to lead a guild. I favor more of a "state's rights" kind of deal anyway - letting folks do what they want without interference... I would be happy to serve as an officer though. I think a good setup would be a triumverate (spelling?) of leaders... and ultimately a sort of governing council with a small officer corp beneath them. Maybe 3 and 5. I'd also like to avoid dues if at all possible.

I think at first we might want to limit to just Alla folks but as we grow, I see no reason not to expand membership. (If you know someone you'd like to invite, just have them post here... then it would be all clean and legal-like!) Would like to not have to lean on recruiting though.

Can we refer to ourselves as "New Alla Band Of Brothers"? That way we would be NABOB!!!

Sounds amusing - I missed the chance to be part of Aude Sapere but I'd like to try the EQ2 version.

So the channel name is alla, and this is on Guk. Qeynos-based guild. I'll contact yall once I manage to make a character.

I agree with the trimuverate thing cause having one leader can lead to a power trip type of thing. But this means we know must decide who the 3 are lol. Since you won't be the head leader at least be part of the triumverate OBD.

Dues are bad and should not be had, ever.

I guess I could be one of the trio to get things going but with my job, I don't have a lot of free time as it is and using it to administrate a guild is not my idea of a good time! As long as I can step down once things get rolling, I'm ok with it though...

Also, while I'm thinking of it, SOE gives each guild a web page on the EQ2 players site, correct? Who wants to help set that up once we get started?

Just reactivated my EQ2, gonna join you all on guk, hope to see everyone. I should be playing as Fierys most of the time. I would be interested in the guild as well.

I'll be your huckleberry again...if you'll have me. Being a casual player and frequent holder of baby-agro, I can't dedicate mass amounts of time online.

I wouldn't recommend using the SOE provided web sites, it seems a bit buggy still. Especially when I get re-directed to the login screen 4 times in a row just trying to access my own guilds forums!

Maybe we could talk Alla into providing a place for us to use to generate guild threads...or just keep using this page. Nothing like up front advertising.

Hello all!

This is my absolute first ever post on this site, but I've been a lurker for years (back to per SoL EQ).

I am interested in joining this guild if it is still in the works and open for membership. I have a Dark Elf mage on another server I could transfer (he's only lvl 8 adventurere, lvl 9 artisan), or just roll up a new one and go through all the IoR junk again.

So, are DE's welcome into this guild? Is it based in Qeynos? Would I be welcome to join? This seems like it'll be a great group of folks.

Thanks in advance.

Up to you, but your best bet would be to just re-roll. I think there's a $50 fee to transfer between servers.

Yes, we are a equal opportunity guild. :)

This jello is still forming, but it seems that way. Even so we have many that are in Freeport.

Lets ask the general concensus of the forum.

I'm sure... umm I mean I hope... umm ok, I mean I sure hope I speak for us all when I say that yes, you'd be welcome as a member of the governing council.

Is it too late for me to join you all? Did you say that you would play on a certain night of the week? Did you set up a normal play time? Did this ieda get off the ground?

I would like to create a femal dark elf bard. I just love the combination.

#125 Aug 23 2005 at 7:31 PM Rating: Decent
Oh, my bad. Make that female dark elf and raise you a bard?
#126 Aug 23 2005 at 9:40 PM Rating: Good
Hi Zoo!!!
No you're not too late... Sunday seems to be the day of choice although no particular time has been set... we seem to be pretty evenly split between FP and Q however, the guild will most likely end up in Qeynos so plan on doing the betrayal or just pulling up stakes and moving sometime around lvl 20... and yes you can make a female DE bard or anything else you would enjoy playing...

Currently, most of us are somewhere around lvl 7 and lvl 10 and I figure guild formation is at least a few weeks down the road.

There is another thread where you can post your char name and class when you hit the island. (Or anytime there after!)

There is also a chat channel set up for us to converse in (/join alla)

Did I miss anything?
