Game/forum personalitiesFollow

Some people tend to act differntly while hiding behind the anonymity of a computer screen, so with that I ask:
How well does your in game/forum personality fit your RL personality.

I'll go first.

G: I'm that loud guy thats always goofing off and playing the fool, but ends up actualy knowing more stuff then most when he decides to shut his big yap. I'm the guy that leads the group 3/4 of the time and helps lead or leads the guild. I'm the guy you can always count on to back you up or save your ***(being a tank and all).

RL: I'm that quiet guy that only realy talks with his closest friends and doesn't even joke with them all that much. The guy that knows a ton of stuff but never speaks up and answers. I'm the guy who never volunteers to lead **** but when they draft me to do it I do my best. If your a friend I'll back you up against anything, but I won't risk my *** for anyone else.

G with friends - Loud and joke around a lot. Can knock off a preverted joke here and there. Always there to help those in need...though lately its me who has been in need. carefree

G with people i hate - The biggest **** in the world. Can make your life miserable online with not helping you or spreading the word about you. *grins at OBD* joking ;p

RL how others view me - Satanic. I work in a nice office doing IT work and have the back of my neck piereced and a 7 inch goatee.

RL how friends see me - Someone who is always there. JOke around and have a good time. Always there to through some money down so we all can have fun even if they are broke.

RL how my wife views me - The sweetest gentlest person in the world and she loves me to death. I couldnt hurt a thing but my cats when they get near my computers. She tells me i act completely different online.

I am the same on both fronts. If someone urks me, G or RL, I will let them know that. I try to keep the peace as much as possible, but there are times (refer to the plat seller thread) when I want to let you know exactly have I feel. I have views on almost everything, but I am not ignorant enough to believe they are always right. I welcome debate with open arms. I love to help others in my circle, G or RL, and will spare no expense to do so. I am very loyal. I can stand when people pick on me or hurt me, but I do not tolerate the same behavior with friends. That is definitely my hottest button.

Good thread Dak! I like it.

P.S. Click on my linky and rate that ****** down!

Edit: Smiley: grin Thanks Aen!

Edit: Cause that ugly old cuss of a dragon put me in my place Smiley: lol. And that's a fact!

Ummmm... it's your opinion... it isn't right or wrong... it's an opinion... "I think OBD is an ugly old cuss"... go ahead... prove me wrong!!!

Now something stated as fact is a whole 'nother can of worms... "OBD is a know-nothing, bag of hot air"... wait... okay, maybe that's not the best example... but you get my meaning...

Anyway, to answer the OP - I'm pretty much the same in RL as I am in game... 'cept I die more often in-game!!!

Game: I talk more than I should..I was once kicked out of a guild on EQOA for talking to much (What a bunch of stiff asses, am I right?)

Real life: I don't talk..Ever. And to end it like OBD..I talk to more females in game than I do in real life! *Popeye laugh* (Atleast I think they're female...Never can be too sure.)

Sorry for replying to all thes old postings so late. I am thrilled that there are so many postings since the last time I had time to visit. It is all a good sign of the growth of this community.

RL: I am built more like a femal Barbaian minus several cup sizes.
GL: I love playing tiny petite elves.

RL: I like to laugh, joke, and have fun. I probablly abuse humor in our work environment, making cracks that shouldn't be made when I make them. On the other, hand I believe that it is the ability to laugh and enjoy ourselves that makes this such a great job.
GL: Very much the same as RL.

RL: I do appreciate the opposite sex from a distance. I was married for 25 years and just don't feel a need at this point in my life for any serious commitments.
GL: I am a big flirt. In EQ Live I flirted with Iksars. I have gained a reputation in my guilds for being a flirt. In EQII I have a particular guildie, a kitty, that I flirt with. I really enjoy the social commands. Several weeks ago a group of guildies and I had just completed the Lightbringer quest and we were just standing around chatting. An Iksar came over and was standing near us. The poor kitty I usually flirt with was also there. I began to flirt with this Iksar in front of my kitty. One thing led to another and my kitty began to flex and make male gestures to his competition. Being a recently leveled 20 bard I pulled out my fluff spell and cast it on kitty. For those of you who don't know what that is it is a spell that makes the castee dance in a most ridiculous way. I might even say that it is a very un-manly dance. Talk about hosing down the male testoterone.

As it turned out the iksar was a guildie's new alt who was just waiting to be guilded. As it also turned out that alt belonged to the RL father of the kitty.
