To start off follow the quests along and do exactly as they say, including going into your Inn room and visiting the banker.

Your next important step is to get your Qeynos Citizenship certificate.

Not really any decisions to make til you get that done Smiley: smile

The quests are designed to do a few things:
- Get you some exp by killing mobs and completing it.
- Get you some reward loot for completing it.
- Get you out of your room and wandering around the different cities and nearby zones.

You could even level up to 13 just by doing quests. Also, when you walk past some significant place (just like on IoR) you will "discover" it and get some exp. Some quests are repeatable and an easy way to get some starting loot. Civil Service is a good one.

After that you will want to go do more quests and explore Antonica (outdoor zone) or Down Below (sewers under the city).

If you haven't already, download and install EQ2MAP here. It is a very good program that has all maps and labeled point with mouse-over information. It is always being updated.

There's a thread down the page a little marked "favorite quests". Not all of these will be useful yet, but several of them are marked as newbie quests.
Join a wholesaler crafting society, even if you don't intend to craft. 2 reasons -- it will give you access to a broker so you don't have to run clear to the inner city to check the market, and it will allow you to do harvesting quests. Harvesting quests send you out to harvest 15 of a certain item, and when you bring your loot to the wholesaler, they'll pay you a decent amount of money.
