Troubador Can't Scribe a SpellFollow

Our guild spell crafter recently sent a bunch of App IV upgrades to my 20 Troubador.
(My 20 Troubador is a guild-group only character that only comes out when our small guild gets together for low level crawls.)

So I get all the spells in the mail and bring them into my inventory. A few scribes later, I'm the happy owner of some upgrades...except 1, Bria's Stiring Ballad (level 13 spell).

It cons yellow, and when I try to scribe it, I get a line in chat that says, "You are unable to scribe this spell". Thinking I may have just gotten a failed attempt, I tried again, and many more times. Still no luck.

Any ideas?

It didn't go into overflow, did it? That is the only thing I can think of, unless you already have it upgraded and just forgot, though I don't think this is the case. Sorry Tut.

I have App 1 scribed, trying to get App 4.

I DID have something in the overflow, but I moved it into my bags.

Maybe a relog refresh may help...later today after work.

A few months back, I had a spell go red on my warden after I had earned it and scribed the upgrade. I wasn't mentoring anyone, it just became uncastable. Situation reverted after a few days, (within the same level), so I moved on. I think it was a bug - a mechanic that had gotten broken and was quickly stealth fixed. Something like this might be the problem with your bard.

Yes, he does seem to be plagued with issues. First the pink square and invisible sword, now this. :)
