Specialized Training - BardFollow

#1 Jul 28 2005 at 10:38 PM Rating: Decent
'ello i got to lvl 10 the other night and was wondering which specialized training skill would be fit the game and my character
i plan on being a Troubadour

Here is the options i have to choose from:

Kelkarn's Opening Act
-bonus to Dirty Tricks decreases the targets melee output
Valhen's Immobilizing Shriek
-bonus to Ensnare, roots instead of snaring
Denon's Deafening Strike
-bonus to Quick Strike decreases mental mitigation
Caskin's Ringing Strike
-bonus to Sneak Attack inflicts additional mental dot

and what do the journeyman boots give? ...because i have yet to /claim it, and i think it was like faster run/walk but i cant remember. hehehe thanks

I took Valhen's Immobilizing Shriek and it has worked great. You're able to temporarily paralyze the mob as you get behind it for a rear attack.

You can use it again to root, then back away and use a ranged attack while your other skill timers reset.

Also good to get out of a sticky situation with a mob that you can't shake.

The /claim boots do give you a faster run speed, but not much. You will find that you will quickly outgrow them and find better boots.

Thank you very much for your input it is greatly appreciated :)
If anyone else has any suggestions, i think players new to eq2 that are choosing the path of the bard would greatly benefit from this. good day and safe journeys!
