Warlock spellsFollow

Do warlock spells have stunning visuals like some wizard spells? For instance the wizard's ice spike summons a clump of spikes to come down and barrage the enemy. I am thinking, since the warlock does poison and disease based damage, is it just stupid little purple puffs around the target?

i think warlocks spells look just fine, the big ice shards falling from the sky and stuff, thats scorcerer magic. (imo warlocks are better and more fun)
