Okay, Iv come from games like eqoa for ps2... ffxi and WoW, and i liked the graphics on all of them. Armor looked cool, characters running looked "real." Then i downloaded EQ2 lastnight..(figured id try the game out.) After uploading the patch and whatnot got to create my char.. and started noticing the graphics sucked. Then i actually got on the ship moving around and such and it was if i was stuck in a 1990 nintendo version of Zelda or something. The graphics seem way outdated, pictures of items and armor looks like an old nintendo game..and the character runs like a robot. Is this just the way the game is? if so why would anybody switch to EQ2 from ffxi/wow. Im hopin I can just mess around with the graphics to make it look better, b/c i expected the game to look cooler than EQOA for ps2. . . any tips on makin the game look better?
Depending on your computer and the settings that you have your graphics set to the visuals might not be that great. In my oppinion I like EQ2 alot better then WOW because WOW was to cartoony for my liking. FFXI had really good graphics I just didnt like the game play that much because if you werent one of the select cookie cutter classes you could never get a party.

I thought the graphics of WoW were a little cartoony also but it made characters/armor look better... EQ2 looks like they tried to make it look to real... and it ended up making it pretty corny for me..i couldnt figure out how to mess around with the graphics got to lvl 4 but couldnt take it n e more. /sigh
To change your graphics you hit that EQ button and go to options. Under display there are a bunch of different options. They did do alot to make armor look very realistic. If you have your graphics turned down though they dont look very good because they take all of the detail off.

FFXI = Blue hair *** transvestites , thats exactly wtf that game looks like.
WoW = a good looking game
but I was blown away when i first played eq2 on the boat !
widescreen realistic graphics, i swear that **** looks like a movie when you sit back in your chair with the eye candy turned up.

Then you walk around like a robot and grunt like a girl. You get your first piece of chest armor and when you accept the reward you realize the graphics are better in nintendo loot screens. You put your fine piece of chest equipment on and realize that thing is as fuzzy as those wool sweaters your grandma knits. A little more running around like a robot and you realize the graphics suck.
and i tried changing my graphics setting and all that non sense. These graphics are just not for me hehe.

Oh yeah speaking of the blue haired *** transvestites in ffxi i thought i would mention the green hair gnome dykes in WoW... very funny.

DOnt know what your talknig about the Graphics are really awesome and look really realistic. I run on balanced settings and the graphics jsut get better from there up.

See ya, don't let the door hit you in the **** on the way out, and if 4th level is all you got to then you are full of crap anyhow. That means you played the game for what 10 min?
Go back to your game the age groups is right where you need to be anyhows.
