EQ2. . .Follow

Okay. So I have been playing World of Warcraft for a month now. Played ffxi and Everquest online for ps2. My favorite of them all was EQOA. Is EQ2 the same? (as far as grouping goes) WoW is solo solo solo..then instance solo solo solo...which is rather dull. I loved EQOA where i could just type up .. XX BARD LFG PST....and find a group. No matter what level there was a place to xp with a group. 10+ n e ways. FFXI was like this but finding a group was a daunting task. So my question is, Is EQ2 finding groups and basically grouping through the game the same way as EQOA? If i find that it is and i chose a monk. . would i find groups relatively easy? Thanks in advance for teh help.

You can play EQ2 any which way. In broad terms the outdoor areas are more for soloing and the dungeons are for groups.

There are a ton of solo quests but all the special quests require a group.

Some people solo mostly and others group mostly.

There are also various raids which need up to 6 groups but these are mainly at the higher levels.

EQ2 is whatever you want it to be.
