I would like to know what class i should go with... i know the basics of both, but i want to know which gets better spells in the opinions of my fellow players.... i am looking for more DD than DoTs and other effects of spells
Fizzies.
Not that they are better or not, but it's easier for most people with text parsers to see who's doing the 'most damage'.

There is not really a "best", it all depends on what you want to play. Wizards = typically good. Warlocks = typically evil.
Of course what would be more devious than a cute little female gnome that can hit you for 700 poison damage, all the while smiling and laughing.
Here's short synopsis:
- They both root/stun/mez
- They both have many DD's and few DoT's
- They both have power regen spells (mana battery)
- They both do mental/magic damage
- Wizard does heat/cold damage
- Warlock does poison/disease damage

at the moment id probably say wizard, there nerfing warlocks roots which will make it really hard to solo, also there starting to gear warlocks towardd aoe which is terrible for groups. but knowing soe they'll probably change it again in a few months so take ur pick lol. soory cant log in to the official forums and i had to say it somewhere!

They nurf every class sooner or later, the next toon that can solo better then the rest will get nurfed also and so on and so on, till the game sucks worse then it already sucks. The problem is called toon envy, everyone one wants what the other has and they tend to **** and moan till they get what they want.
Warlocks can solo now only dure to having a root spell once that is gone forget about solo play. A green solo mob can rip a warlock up in a few sec. When that point comes I will just park mine. I for one hate to group and end up with tons of exp debt or exp that comes to slow.
