Warden vs FuryFollow

#1 Jul 05 2005 at 11:45 AM Rating: Decent
I am now at level 19 and must make my subclass selection. In the main group I play with I mostly heal the main tank and also any in group which need help. I would like opinons as to what and why you like the Warden vs Fury. At present I am leaning toward the Warden but am not positive. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I have a fury and my mother has a warden. Wardens have better heals than furies (in fact, so good that they may be due for a nerf), while furies have better dot spells. However, I play main healer in groups easily (though I'm 22, so for all I know, I may be underpowered in the 40s). My mom's warden solos as easily as my fury, even though she has inferior damage spells. Beyond that, furies get buffs that add procs or damage potential, while wardens buff resists. Wardens do cold damage, while furies do magic and heat damage. Oddly enough, wardens have better damage shields -- furies get their last DS at 23.

I play a warden in a regular trio with a couple of rl friends and couldn't be happier.

I also have no complaints soloing when no one else is around and in fact, soloing with the warden, I am often able to kill mobs faster than with my ranger!

A fury may have a little more bite, but the warden is no slouch in offense mode!

IMHO - you can't make a wrong choice when you start with a druid!
