Hey, is it my imagination or did the musical bags bug get fixed in the most recent patch? My bags never stayed where I last had put them. Every time I logged in and opened my bags I had to reposition them. Locking the bags had absolutely no affect. Now it seems that every time I log in and open my bags they stay exactly where I last left them. Maybe I am just a stickler but when I open my bags I like to see them all open at the same time.

That will be a welcome change and a nice stealth fix. It's always been something that I dealt with at the beginning of a play session and even though it only took a few minutes for each character, it still seemed like a big waste of time!

One thing I've noticed though, my targetting window doesn't stay where I put it last time I was logged on. It's not as annoying as the musical bags, but it just bothers me having it slightly ascued compared to my character stats window.
The good folks at TenTonHammer have this:
Under EQII > Options > Key Commands there is a place to assign a hot-key to "Open All Bags".
Also try /togglebags.
