Guild HousesFollow

I read about this elsewhere and want to know---what is a guild house? Does the guild get it automatically or do we have to build it? If it is just there---where is "there"? LOL

I joined a guild and feel too stupid to ask them...and no one ever mentions it.

So tell me wise gamers---where do I call home?

There isn't actually a guild house in the game. Some guilds use large or luxury rooms set up by their guild leader.

Most people still call their own little room at the Inn home though Smiley: smile

Just one problem with the Inn Rooms. There is a limit on the number of items you can place on it.

In fact, that's the main reason I refuse to move to a bigger room, my current one's too small. I've had to throw the bed, chairs, tables and even the dragon to make room for my quest books and trophies. Poor dragon.

Guild Houses, usually mean those 64 GOLD + 60000 Status points per week rooms in the city itself. They have a much larger item limit besides being really large themselves. Plus it's a more private place to meet in [it's a pain to not have an access level for guildies... are you listening? SOE?] than say the Claymore or Execution Plaza.

Nope, there realy are guild halls. Know that massive building that the broker stands behind in qharbor? thats where they are. Only problem is your guild has to be about level 996645854858325 to get one.

Yep that's the one. Right-clicking still shows nothing, so we'll see if it's really in or my guild needs another 10 levels.

Broker? There's a fence at least. In the drains.

Someone told me there is a broker in QH, I looked, couldn't find one.

I've come to believe they were thinking of the Fence, which you get to by swimming through the moat and through a tunnel.

Prices at the Fence were actually pretty good, at least a month ago.

Coming from the fence, when you swim back out (make a left) and up the stairs, I believe the broker in QH is right there. (I'm horrible with directions, sorry Smiley: blush )

As you exit the harbor proper turn right, (south) go past the merchants and Delvina Ironforge (I think, she takes tradeskill class choices at level 20) and go behind the building, the broker is there.

Theres still no hardcore info on the guild halls, I've heard rumors that you get them at guild level 30, but the people I've talked to that said they have one arn't the most reliable sources.

There also isn't an abundence of guilds level 30+, which means its very hard to get proof.

Also, I'm willing to bet that its not free, judging from the prices of the other things at guild level 30, flying carpet and phantom steed, 60pp and status each , my guess is that it costs 100+pp and a ton of status.

Just my 2 copper.

Does the broker in QH sell the same goods as the brokers in the TS instances?

Yes, same items for sale.

Strangely, the broker is located almost directly above the Fence in QH. Coincidence? I think not. :)
