Haven't played this game for a while and I forget which ones give out bags. I'm a Qeynosian so I know about the one from Nettleville Hovel (Verth's Delivery) and the one from Antonica. Are there others??

Well in Castleview Hamlet there is a merchant near the bank that has two quests. One is to kill Mystail Yearlings, and the other is to get fur from the bats in The Caves. The Caves one is the one that gives the bag. Just go to the caves and kill them until you have four furs (I get one each kill). Go back and he'll make you do it again. After the second time the reward is a Torn Backpack (4 slot). Not much but eh, it's a bag.

Two that I know of in Antonica. One is the Bootstrutters Pack - 10 slot 0 weight reduction - that you get for doing the tour of Antonica and the other is a collection quest that requires 7 different colored Antonican Ficus leaves. These leaves are a rare drop from the question marks. Complete the collection for a 12 slot backpack.

There are parallel rare bag collection quests in T3, T4 & T5 for additional giant sized bags!

I did the Antonican Ficus leaf quest, did the turn in last week and only got a 12 slot bag as a reward.

Edit to add:
In the Forest Ruins, there is a quest "Vaughn's Stuff" - killing ruins skulkers, I think the reward was a small bag for that too.

I read somewhere that those bags for which you turn in the leaves were supposed to be only for "collection items", but they're bugged so you can put anything in them. I'm not sure what's meannt by "collection items" because they don't take up bag room after you add them to your collection anyway. Maybe they hold tradeskill items. Since someone said the Antonica quest yielded a 12 slot, maybe they dropped the restriction and, as a compromise, the number of slots.

I just finished the EL leaves collection, but I haven't turned it in yet, so I'll try to remember to let you know what I get.

There's another regular bag quest in EL - inspect one of the bags lying around in the Mill at the top of the hill on the easy side of the wall. You need to collect 15 Briarpaw pelts (about 1 in 5 drop off Briarpaws, not greater, unseasoned or cubs, just plain Briarpaws) You get a 10 slot.

There's also the Bag of Sewn Evil Eye quest, but I haven't started that one so I know little about it.

Just double checked the quest page and found I had been mis-informed. Turns out the quest reward in the Antonican Ficus leaf quest is in fact 12 slot and not 20. Sorry for the bum steer!

Here are the correct details:
Quote:
Small Collectors Pouch
This container can only be used to hold collectible items!
NO TRADE
Slots: 12
Wt Reduction: 0%

Condition: 100%
Weight: 0

I also heard that although intended to carry only collectable items, (I assume they mean foraged items and anything gathered from a glowing ?), they didn't implement the restriction and the bags will hold anything.

I got the 20 slot bag for the EL leaves last night, and as of then, it will still hold anything.

I wonder if they were originally going to have quest items take up inventory like they do in every other RPG. As someone who hates fiddling with inventory and having to trek back to turn in quests or sell/destroy items because I'm out of room, I'm eternally grateful to whomever decided to set up quest and collection items as they did :)
