I need to collect items for a new weapon, and I need to know where I can find:

Steel Cluster
Sparkling Extract
Dull of Black Coal
Fiber Filament

You'd have to get one of those "rare" (semi-rare) harvestables called "Sparkling Flower" or "Sparkling Stone" or "Sparkling Fish Scale" or...there are more. Obviously, they all start with Sparkling. Then, get an alchemist to make you a Sparkling Extract.
I think Steel Cluster is a rare...not sure what tier...3 maybe? Well, it'll be whichever tier you're working in.
Just in case you don't know, in order to imbue an item, it has to be pristine. So, you'd make a pristine steel tulwar, then use an imbuing recipe to combine it with the extract.

Steel is the Tier 3 rare that goes along with the common carbonite. They would be harvested in Thundering Steppes or Nektulos. You'll need to harvest, on average, 500 carbonites before you get a Steel. (You'll probably also get a dozen or so "sparkling" items) By the time you do that, you'll probably outgrow the weapon you want.

If you have some gold banked you could buy it from the broker. The last time I checked they were going for 15 - 20 gold, but that was before the population started rising again, and before all the new froggies. The extract will set you back 5 gold or so.

Honestly, the Steel weapon is NOT that ^ much better than the regular carbonite version, and the imbue is identical. I wouldn't waste all that money or time on it myself. Considering also you won't be in T3 all that long and you'll only be able to sell it for a few silver after you attune it.
