Business booming?Follow

Maybe it's due to the beginning of Summer Vacation, or maybe it's the holiday weekend, but it seemed to me that there were more people playing in the last three days than I have ever seen before.

I spent most of the weekend in T Steppes and at times, I was in competitation with two or three other people/duos/groups for the same mobs! I also ran through a lot of areas that almost always have mobs up and often this weekend they were empty.

Also noticed a lot more on-going chatter in ooc.

I'm on Toxx... so what about on your server, is business booming?

I still have no luck getting groups with my lvl 48 conjuror. I would have been 50 weeks ago if I could actually get exp. There is very few things worth soloing at this level, and what few things there are to solo are usually taken by other people who can't get a group.

Lag was horrid Monday night on Antonia Bayle. And all the newbie zones were crawling with frogs. I figure it's a combo of the froglocks being unlocked and holiday weekend.

I was working on a negleted alt this weekend and Blackburrow was standing room only. There had to be between 50-100 toons scratching and fighting for mobs. Most of them where those annoying little frog people :) I'd say things were kind of like the first month after live, except there were a lot more skilled players at low lvl.

The upside was that I managed to gain 10 lvl in Tradeskills and i couldn't make app4's fast enough. 40g in 2 days with very little effort. Business was certainly booming.

Butcherblock tends to be a low to medium pop server spread out over a wide lvl range, so it was a nice change in tempo for the lower lvl zones.

Yep Old Blue Dragon hit it. Summer vacation, the increase in load is probably due to schools being out for the summer.

Gee, maybe those people who said they were leaving EQ and would never come back came back to play frogs?
