Is it my imagination or did the plague just go away? I haven't been infected or even seen anyone infected in about a week now. Don't remember SOE announcing that the boss plague mob had been killed on Toxx... but then I can't remember hearing that they were just giving up on it either!
Either way... if it's gone, then good riddance!

Maybe you just weren't online when it happened. Not much fanfare, just the one little message in yellow and it's gone 
Actually the servers that couldn't cure the plague themselves had it wiped in LU9. My server, Lucan D'Lere, was one of these as well. The devs took it out.

Aww, that's a shame. They should have left it in place until it was cured. Give people a reason to keep at it. I mean even if a total walkthrough was out there, it could be some time before anyone bothers to take care of it.
Some may never get rid of it then.. or even worse they don't have the ability to do it.. some servers don't have much in the way of uber guilds...

No Uber Guilds? Good. Something like the plague would provide incentive for people to work together.
That's alright, now everyone will be focused on unlocking stupid frogs, while I continue with my diabolical in-character plan to be the laziest elven necromancer ever.
"Zombie, go kill that thing over there while I harvest some roots." And yea didst the Fallen Hero rush over to the green-conned foe and earneth his Master some experience whilst his Master picketh yon rootes. "Good minion. Now, go violently rip apart that thing over there, while I investigate this wind-swept rock."
Or something like that.
