Totem of the BatFollow

I purchased Totem of the Bat recently and frankly I don't see its effects when I use it.

It said something about shapeshifting the caster into bat form.... nnnnnope didnt happen.

I didnt notice any other real benefits from using it in combat either. I know it activated bc my fury did the little hand waving stuff and in my spell bar it showed it as activated for 30 mins but I'm wondering... what was the point??

Did I totally waste my money here or what?
