infuriation spellFollow

hello everyone.

i got this spell swhile ago in levels but rarely if at all use it.
from what i understand you cast it on someone in your group thats taking dmg and this will mitigate it for a short period of time...........similar to intervene cept infuriation has a short duration timer on it.

i usually group with a fury and a coercer everytime i group, well as everyone knows the coercer has huge agro generating all the time due to breeze and haste buffs being held on the entire group, also when they have resisted mez spells. usually i will have intervene allready on her but with the mobs hitting so hard at this level she takes huge dmg and puts her in the red off the first set of flurries from the mob. my question is .....do i have to target her to cast infuriation on her for it to land or can i just simply cast it while fight the encounter?.............i find having to target her really can ***** things up seeing everyone has me targeted assisting me on mob.

can someone post some pros and cons of infuriation and list best scenarios of its use.
