Lack of Tradeskill BuffsFollow

#1 May 08 2005 at 9:07 AM Rating: Decent
As a Scholar I am trying to work all the subskills, ie binding, fletching, srcibing etc. At level 10 I got the second set of buffs for all of them except for fletching. Is there a reason for this? Does race, profession, or skill level effect this?

As far as I know, Fletching is a skill belonging to the Craftsman profession so, as a Scholar, it won't go any higher for you.

At level 10, you should only have gotten 3 new sets of +dur buffs. These would be for Alchemy, Arcane Skills and Runecraft. You should not have received anything for skills used by craftsmen and outfitters. Since Fletching is the primary skill used by woodworkers, you won't ever be getting those buffs.

If you need to use woodworking skills, (say, to make your own quills), you can take up Timbercraft. This skill is open to everyone, (just buy the books), and will let you make any wood products you might need as a scholar.
