This is the most evil quest I have ever encountered. The reward is completely worth it, but still, this is rediculous. Not only do you have to collect 60 high quality owlbear meats, which only drop from ASH owlbears, not elder ash, or mature ash. They dont even update every time. Then you have to go do it with undead. I died a good 4 times tonight alone, and only got about 20 updates. You cannot escape getting massive amounts of aggro there. Everything aggros, freakin grass aggros you... /rant off

Isn't that one of the heritage quests? If so, don't expect it to be easy!

I have been hunting the patchwork men and found ONE safe spot....lol.

When staring at the bridge to the castle, to the left side near the moat you can safely pull the 3 patchwork men that guard the entrence. Not the fastest method to complete this portion of the quest, but it is safe from agro.

Yes Oldblue, it is a herritage quest. I don't expect it to be easy, and I suppose my rant wasnt so much about the quest as it is about how much I despise Nektulos Forest. You can't walk ten feet without aggro. With all the wanderers, you can be fighting in a relatively safe spot, then BAM a couple more mobs aggro, and that results in death. I'm gonna tough it up though, because I really want the reward. I guess I'll just get level 28 then come back and finish it, that way I can use the spoils of my efforts as soon as Im finished.

You can get the undead drops from almost any undead. You don't have to hunt only Patchwork's.

I hunted the zombies (forget the names) just north the bridge to Commonlands. Got updates on about every 5th kill. Ground through them in about 2 hours. ...of course I was level 33 so had an advantage that Nezzrek didn't. :)

Tutan I can't thank you enough. You have saved me days hunting. I was able to finish the undead portion and knock off the shadow man language quest at the same time. I had no clue that cadavers would work also.

Thanks again!!!

Never been to Nek Forest... never much liked the place in EQ and never been high enough in level to visit there in this game...

Guess I'll have to head over there at some point though...

As they say in Turkish prison... "May it pass quickly."

Don't worry, OBD, it's still the same dark place. Just a lot more owlbears and undead. It's like there is a constant blanket of gloom smothering you.

I don't really like it, but it's got a ton of normal quests (especially on the beach), access quests, a few Heritage Quests, and the D'morte Burial Chamber for the new Bloodline Chonicles.

Speaking of which, the first level is free. It's located at the top of the river at Timber Falls.

Like Stormhold, I was glad to graduate from it. :)

Heritage quests are like mini epic quests IMO. Don't expect them to get any easier.
