When do enchanters in EQ2 start getting illusions? I always felt like that was one of the rewards of playing an enchanter in EQ1, but it seems like the illusions don't become available as early in EQ2.

ok you dont get any illusions for enchanters, you have to wait till you get to illusionist or coercer. as soon as you hit ilusionist you get some but you got to wait a while for coercer

If I understand the OP, the right answer should be we get NO llusions. No one does. Not the way we got them in EQ1.

Now, they seem to be more 'nerf' spells. eg, a high elf illusinist cannot morph into a dark elf and expect to wander freely in Freeport. Heck, I'm a DARK ELF Illusionist and I can't do it with or without the illusion or the peterified eye or whatever.

Illusions don't fool anyone, they are mainly for fun [I cast group illusion:human which turns everyone but me into female humans. Cuts down on the the testosterone talking or the really witty comments about the shorter races].

Wish it worked more like EQ1. I hope SOE puts that in place later on.
