Bloodline Chronicles QuestionFollow

Hi All,

My pally is slowly creeping up on level 33 and I beleive it may be a good time to get a hold of the Bloodline Chronicles and give that a go. I see it mentions there are Solo, small group and raid instances to the zones. But are these instances for the whole pack or just parts of it? I enjoy soloing whenever I can and join groups only when I am involved in something like an Access or Heritage quest and would love to think that this adventure pack gives me a whole load of soloing content. The last thing I need is to buy it and find out it is 90% group based...especially as most people may not even have the pack yet anyway.

If anyone can shed any light on this before I buy I would appreciate it.

Cheers
minky

Ok first off grats on getting through 33 with your pali. It gets alot easier from here on out.
As for bloodline cronicals it is about 40% solo content including the access quest and instanced zones. Then the big zone is in tiers. Also lvl 30-40 area. You have to do an access quest for each area and yes unfortunatally there are alot of group mobs. But on the plus side there are several new items in there and LOTS of new mobs to be had. Me and my guild love spending an evening playing in there hunting hellhounds for the infoumous puppy for yer house. Also we are looking for a silver pendent which acts like the petrified eyes, and turns you into a vampire.
If you got the spare 5 bucks I say go for it, and one last thing it is an instanced zone so you don't have to fight for nms ect which is real nice for exsploring and hunting for stuff. I do hope this helps ya out. Happy hunting!

Hiyas... just was curious about a couple of things related to Bloodline Chronicles.

1. Should you not go there til level 30, or what level is appropriate to begin adventuring there?

2. What do you all think of it? I saw a good response from the above poster, anyone else have any opinions?

I think I wanna get this expansion when I finish up some quests (my quest journal is ALSO always full!) and when I lvl up a bit more. Any input is appreciated.

30 is a good time to start. I've had a blast with Bloodlines. There's a ton of content, good quests and rewards. Well worth it, but take a full group the first time. Oh and very good exp also.

This is actually a quest reward. Just do all the quests that you get from whatever faction you belong to. Hand of Marr, I'm assuming for a Pally. You can also get a nice breastplate with some worn regen from these guys, as well as some fun clicky items so do ALL the quests they give you. The vamp illusion is the reward from the last quest that they give you and uses vampire fangs as regents.

This zone is a blast and it's awesome xp for tier 4. You can also get some good loot from the named vamps in here and the quests require you to kill these anyway. I don't know for sure where the hellhound is from. It's a quest reward from either the two factions outside or a collection quest inside. A friend of mine mailed me one as a gift, so I can't say for sure. There are a buch of those question marks, so it may be a collection quest.

While you are plugging away at all the quests you'll eventually unlock the raid instance as well. This can be tons of fun if you're into raiding and it's certainly challenging. It's designed more like EQ1 raid zones i.e. you have to clear mobs and you have mini bosses, as well as the final target. Loot isn't the best, but oh well.

As much fun as this zone is, don't gain too much xp in here and outlevel runnyeye, that's a nice tier 4 zone as well.

I would wait until 30 or else the mobs may all con red to you and you'll be unable to defeat any of them. Even 30 is just a bit low.
