What heals do you useFollow

#1 Apr 23 2005 at 2:55 PM Rating: Decent
I play a lvl 22 warden and tend to solo or trio in a Guardian/Ranger threesome.

I find that more and more, I tend to reach for Bloom or Efflorence or sometimes even a Regrowth first. I only occasionally go to an Arch or a Sylvan and I never seem to use Minor Heal any more. All my heals are either app 4 or ad 1 and between good drink and a decent sized pool, (>660), power never seems to be an issue.

Anyone got a different methodology that they're really happy with?

Hi :)

I'm just lvl 21 at this point, and I have not yet used spells beyond a few app IIs, most are still app I. (getting new upgraded ones made by a friend but havent had a chance to use them yet)

I run out of power relatively fast if aggro gets on me and I have to do anything besides standing back and healing the group. (when aggro gets on me I promptly do everything I can to shake them and pull them to someone else in the group who can tank... most times I get them off me pretty quick but sometimes its a real problem) Other than those times that aggro gets on me, I really don't have any trouble at this point keeping everyone healed and things run pretty smoothly.

I use, like you, primarily Bloom and Regrowth during the encounter. I only use Sylvan in extreme cases when everyone needs to be healed at one time... and I do use the Minor arch healing in combination with Regrowth/Bloom on the MT to really boost his power bar back up to its maximum.
I know its not a 'heal' but I'll throw in there that I like to throw in the occasional Weakness and Feral Intimidation to help make the fight against kinda tough mobs/named and for my toughest encounters I try to use Subterfuge to slow the mob down.
I am looking forward to using my upgraded spells, app IV, to see what differences that will make in my technique and performance. If there's anything I should be doing differently, please let me know =)

Now at higher level,I find that using group heals over time is a priceless tactic... low aggro producer for me. I also find casting weakness VERY beneficial at the start of the encounter on a mob. The difference in how fast that mob goes down with it is quite notable.

I now primarily use group heals over time (Ram's growth, etc) in combination with Vicious Feast , Weakness, feral intimidation, and sylvan wind (for instant group heal) when needed. I use Bloom and effloresce on a case by case basis for single target healing only when I absolutely have to bc these tend to draw increased aggro to me, which I don't want ;)

Using this system, I can pretty easily function as primary healer while conserving mana, and do the occasional melee if they need added dps/nukage. :D

YAYYYY TO FURIES!!!!
