Which subclass should is better alchemist or jewler?Follow

I like the idea of being able to imbue rings and make runes for my scout alt. However, I started thinking at it and just how seriously useful are those abilities? I mean most drops are superior to crafted items and runes are dirt cheep on my server right now. I was looking at tier 3 runes and there is usually at least 2 pages of Adept 1 runes going for as low as 30s in many cases. So why spend hours crafting just to make your own when they are basically dirt cheap now?

On the other hand, Alchemy has been basically nerfed, potions seem to suck for the most part and essences (or whatever they are called) don't sell too well either. There are extracts I suppose but it will be while before I can make those...

So which one should I go with? Any help would be much appreciated...
