I just recently acquired some personal status points but I don't really know what purpose those serve. Can someone give me a clue? lol.

Also personal status is used to buy speacial guild only items: like furniture, housing in the cities, cheaper mounts, etc. See the city merchants and faction merchants to get a list of buyables. Also check the post for furniture gallery for images.
