Hello, Friends ^^
I currenly in betweeen playin FFXI and SWG.
I am enjoying them, but i think i wanna try someethin new out.
I have never played EQ1 So i dont know what to expect.
Pls Can some of the players here fill me in with some info about tha game and their opinions.

You can download the free Trial of the Isle and play the tutorial/newbie portion of the game. That should give you a feel for the look and mechanics.
Remember that the IoR is the beginning zone, and most of the game content is after you leave the island. So there is much more waiting for you!
Please look at a few of the threads in this forum, there are many that discuss the pros and cons of the game.
Briefly, the game is fun and full of content. There are quests that range from easy to very complex, fulfilling whatever you desire. Great opportunities for groups and soloers, and the graphics are only limited by your own system.
Download the free demo and you'll be able to make a well informed decision. Nothing like your own observations. :)

Tutan gave you the best possible advice.
Its impossible to predict if you will like the game or not.
Trying it out is your best bet.
Do all the quests you can find on the IOR. I won't spoil it for you, suffice it to say that there are at least 10 quests that can be done on the isle. If you do at least 6 of them and you enjoy doing the quests, you will probably enjoy the game. The game is very quest-centric.
If you don't enjoy the quests that doesn't mean you won't enjoy the game, but you have to bear in mind that much of the game advancement is through quests, so if they aren't fun for you, it is a good indicator.
Try it, see how it goes.
