The Plague, Nek, and plagued heartsFollow

Anyone got an update on how to combat the Plague? Heard folks talking about a lady up the river in Nek Forest that will only give a quest to artisans. Says something about curing the Plague. I hear she needs plaguehearts and some have dropped off the owlbears. Anyone know if this is an existing quest or perhaps THE ONE :)

Well from what I can tell...Apothecary Ridren by the river in Nek Forest gives you a quest to start looking for the cure. But she wont give me the quest because she said I wasnt skilled in alchemy. So apparently you have to atleast be an alchemist...which by the way...I'm not yet. I heard you had to be a high lvl alchemist. I heard that you had to get plagued hearts which you can only get from plagued animals...there are plenty in Nek btw. Sigh...they should really make this better for those who arent alchemists. It seems they are leaving us out. An alchemist can do everything themselves but even if someone who isnt an alchemist gets the parts...they still have to get an alchemist to help them. So either the alchemist is gonna pay or you are. And another thing...you dont get any credit for the quest. Only the alchemist is. I want something that says I participated in it atleast. Anybody else have a clue?

From what I understand, there will have to be a collaborative effort on the part of more than one class to complete the quest for a cure to the plague. The alchemist covers one part of it... after getting the plagued hearts (which I believe they have to have help getting), and making a potion of some sort (I think I read this potion is good for curing for a period of time longer than that of Cure Noxious but still not permanent), the alchemist returns to the NPC and is told that they still need to determine the origin/cause of the plague which must be done by some other class.

Sooooo... the quest will not be completable by any one class, rather a collaborative effort by more than one. Sounds like a good quest for members of a guild to take on.
