Question about tradeskill dependiciesFollow

Okay, I've spent 99 percent of my time in this game adventuring but I recently went on a crafting binge and finally got my scholar to level 21. That's when I realized that I don't have the recipes for most of my tier 3 ingredients such as quills and the inks. I understand that you can buy books that you can scribe that will give you these recipes but I have not been able to find them. I was wondering if somebody could point in the right direction on this. For instance, to scribe the ink for tier 3 Shaman spells, the only book that I've been able to find with that recipe is Alchemy Essential 20 or something like that but its red to me.


Also, I heard that you can change your tradeskill subclass if you are below if your 19 or below in North Qeynos at the portal. Is this true? Any way any help you can give a confused tradeskiller would be much appeciated.

Go back to the wholesaler. There should be apothecary essential books that will have your ink recipes. There will also be books for making quills/paper, but I don't remember the name right off, Timbercraft maybe?
