Stuck at lvl9 :: Free Realms

I am 156% into lvl9 artisan. I have talked to the gal in west freeport and choose to be a scholar. Why cant I get to lvl 10?
I am completly lost please help me.

Usually you just need to craft one more thing in your chosen profession to ding and get the title.

Just curious, I'm assuming they carried your extra xp over toward your lvl 11, as they would do in adventure lvling?

I think the hard cap for XP is 220% above level. After that anything new just goes poof! The upside is that it's really fun to ding twice in a row!
