I have an Iksar Crusader at the moment, on his way to become a Shadowknight and I was wondering, should I use a 2 handed sword or a sword and shield?
Well for some insight you can read the "Why don't you wear a shield" thread ^_^
Basically I'd wear a shield if you're the main tank & have a 2hander for fun soloing. But that's just IMO

Heh, if they can't keep me alive while I 2h, its not a good pt. Either the healers aren't up to it, or the pt's overall dmg sucks for the mobs we're fighting. Im willing to take 2 deaths to find out, then I let them know there is a problem, and I need to leave once they find a new tank.
use 1 and and shild while in groups just to make it easyer for your team if ur the MT but if your just solo use what ever is better damage.

2-Hander when not tanking.
1-Hander and a shield when you are tanking.
A 2-hander when tanking is quite doable, as long as your healer can keep up with the slack. This especially applies to group's that lack DPS, or have multiple healers.
