What you all think of the Shaman Mystic? I was thinking about taking this path with one of my characters. Right now I have an Iksar Crusader and want to try something other than brute strength.

I love my Mystic.
I can slow, DoT, DD and Heal all in the same encounter. I always am doing something in an encounter so it is a good class if you are like me, slightly hyperactive. I played a cleric in EQ 1 and a nec and I will say I like my mystic much more then either of those classes.

Aye I have just recently started playing a shaman/defiler myself and am loving it. So far I've played a cleric Conjuror Necro Bard and fighter a bit and of all of them I like my Shaman the most. Wards are nice. You also get some nice defensive type spells for emergencies like fearing all mobs around you and reducing hate. Very good for when you get in that tight spot and are out of power. Also the mana free ward comes in handy for casting right before you cast the fear one. I highly recommend you at least give it a try.
