was up wit rangers???Follow

hey, 35 zerk here, and i been tanking and parsing for many lvls now. and i havent found a ranger that can out dps, whats the deal? and even further, i havnt found any rangers that are even good dps, seen guardians, chanters, and other none dps classes getting higher dps. am i skewd or missing somehting? always thought from eq1 that dps went....wiz, rogue, ranger, the rest......and seems to hold true in eq2 cept rangers ive seen suck at dps. what do yall think???

well you play with noobs, i do sick amouts of damage, Do they used Ranged and Melee attacks? because thats key in doing major damage and do they use poisons because that is also a big boost in DPS

you need to find some good rangers to play with, youll love us;P

to be a good ranger(imo) you have to solo till like level 15 just so you can get all ur skills up and stuff. without doin that your still far below rouge's subclasses. rangers are pretty dang good even if u dont solo. you were prolly grouped with some gimp rangers. i have been grouped with uber rangers outdamageing the casters and other scouts.
