Is there any way you can transfer a character's data to another separate EQ2 account? How do you go about doing this, if yes?

SoE have this service for EQ1 but I don't think it's available for EQ2 yet. Maybe check their official site.

If your lvl 11 then paying 75$ (if its same price as EQ1) is not worth it.
Getting to lvl 20 only takes a few hours...

good point ... but it could be done hypothetically? I don't care if I do it anymore or not at this point at least, but the question still stood as to if it could be done. ;)

I actually tried to do this recently - my roommate had given me a character slot on his account so I could try the game, so I hit up online support and asked about transferring.

SoE will not transfer EQ2 characters, at all.

Thanks for the input, I figured that may be the case, for obvious reasons. I also started playing the game at my bf's house on his computer on one of his character slots... and leveled up to 11 over 2 days. I shortly thereafter bought my own account but have to use it on his computer til I get a new pc that can run EQ2 properly.

For now I'm just leaving the character on his acct but now that I have my own slots I'm not playing her... I made a new Sashayenne in one of my own slots on a different server which is now also at lvl 11... I guess I'll just let him delete the old whenever he wants.

At any rate, I've found I like a new toon I made which I use as main anyhow on my own account :)

Said all that unnecessary stuff to say, thanks for the confirmation on whether or not they'll do a transfer. I figured as much.

One thing to note though, the moment you delete a character, their name is free to be used again, so you can just delete it and remake it on the same server if you want :)

Yeah... that's a good idea. Too bad I already remade the toon on Mistmoore and its lvl 11 at this point also...

the difference is, on Highkeep, Sashayenne is a lvl 11 sorcerer and on Mistmoore she's a lvl 11 summoner. I think what I'll do is just keep the sorcerer on my bf's account in his slot as long as he doesnt need it for anything and play her when I'm at his apt, and play the summoner on my acct at home. It'll give me something to do when I have spare time at his place ;) But yeah, I don't necessarily want anyone recycling my toon's name on a server I played her on. Thanks :)
