Lo all. (must warn im a noob, currently playing the trail untill i get paid thursday...then im getting my copy:)
Yesterday while harvesting, i came across 4 Antlers within 5 min, then nothing (text said Fabled). What is this? is it a quest item or something i can use in a recipe?
and is this something i can sell, if yes what price range are we talking?

That's one of the new harvested items. Got a "glowing stone" myself yesterday. Alchemists use these items to make a potion that tradeskillers can then combine with pristine crafted items to make new enchanted items. All new with yesterday's patch, so still playing out prices and such.

Figured it was new, no1 on the isle knew what it was...
Im just thinking about what price range do u think in? are we talking silver (dreaming) or gold here?
Would be nice since im leaving the isle on thursday to the big city, so i could sell and get a good start. Currently lvl 6/ 9 mage, and its red to me.

There seems to be alot of FABLED items that are really nothing more then merchant fodder. For instance I looted A Insect Antenna earlier in EL. Granted it is a uncommon drop worth decent money on a merchant. But it is nothing more then merchant fodder. To the best of my knowledge deer antlers are merchant fodder. They probably sell for more money then the more common loots your getting.

Aye agree there it is one of the new items, got a couple glowing tooths and a glowing flower myself. Big question though is getting the recipe books for these new items. Per the news release one has to go to the camp of the Hands of Mar or the Bretheren of the Night to which I'm going "duhhhhh who the heck are they?" Anyone know who they heck these people are and more importantly WHERE they are?
The antler is not a new drop. I got one when I very first started playing, months ago.
However, I never did figure out what it could be used for so I either sold or destroyed it.

Nah, the antlers are just some of that vendor fodder that sells for more, afaik. As for the glowing flowers, glimmering flowers, etc... THOSE are worth keeping, are no-value, and are not tagged as "Fabled". They are tagged as "Legendary", and you get a lovely sound effect with a text message telling ya that you just found a rare. :P Heh, you can find fabled fungus, fur...etc. And, you can find handcrafted "aerated mineral water" and "milk" to boot! :D
