I just strarted, so questions are:

1) I noticed that i can fish/mine/collect even without a fishing pole/pickaxe/skyth. Does buying one of them makes difference and if it does - how to use them properly?

2) Selecting my bank account i chose "Adventurer"... Would be something different if I would chose "Artisan"?

3) What should i do after getting my citizenship?

That's it for now.. Thank you

1) These items have no use and no value. Do not buy one until that changes. This was a last minute addition by Sony that never got flushed out. In theory you needed them to harvest at all, but that was never implemented and I doubt ever will be, especialy as they make harvesting easier and easier.

2) Again this has no effect what so ever. In the days long past they toyed with the idea of being an Adventure OR Artisan, they realized how bad of a mistake that would be and took it out.

3) What ever you want. I suggest running around the city and getting every newbie task you can. Then going and trying to fill those orders. While your doing this harvest any node and ? you seel. Use the harvested items to try crafting. :) Crafting can be the best way to earn cash at times and its a good idea to get a feel for all aspects of the game so you know the value of some things.

3) Start by doing every quest you can find and repeating the ones that are repeatable. This will acomplish 4 things.

The first is that it will jump start your income. The second is that it will bring in a nice selection of armor, weapons and jewlery to equip your toon. Third, it will help you to learn your way around a variety of tier one zones and fourth, you'll be gaining experience with every step you take!

One of my favorite repeatables, (for good characters), is just inside the gates of Forest Ruin. The guard there will give you a quest to go into the zone and kill some "vermin". The critter seems chosen at random and the quantity can be anywhere from 5-10 mobs, but the payout is consistant at over a silver per job. When I am bringing up a new alt, I never work in this zone without one of his quests in hand!

The repeatable quests also include your wholesaler tasks. If you ask the guy behind the desk where you enter your trade skill instance, he will give you a task to collect 15 of some foraged item. Collecting these will not only help you make some decent coin, but will also help you to raise your foraging skills. Another win/win situation!

Good luck and good hunting!

Entry to some higher level (post 30) zones is based on either your Adventurer or Artisan level, whichever is higher.

Also at level 8 you can start the quest for your first sub-class.
