Zek Boat Ride Help PleaseFollow

Last night I did the entire quest (which is a long pain in the a$&, lots of running around with no real rewards kind of thing). When my group finally got to the boat ride, we were all ready and excited to be almost done. Well we get on the boat talked to the Captain, and a bunch of orcs appear on the other side of the boat, just as we are about to pull, two orcs pop on us right next to the Captain. We kill them get ready to pull then two more pop on us, then two more, then two more. finally we decided to pull the group of orcs on the other side of the ship as fast as we could before the other two could pop. Well as it turns out that didnt help either, not to mention that as we were wiping out the big group of orcs they just kept popping. so many of them that even with two enchanter types (which we didnt even have one) that it would have been close to impossible to keep everyone mezzed.

So my question is, does anyone know the secret to this boat ride, im assumming we did something wrong or used a wrong strategy, please help me out, after doing all that running around I really want to finish this quest. Thank you for any and all help.

Its always a good thing to do a bit of reaserch before you go to a raid zone, but all the grp has to stand all the way back on the captain side, and its all the way back if they are not to get aggro.
