hey guys,
I am aware that I am about to sound like the worlds biggest noob but bear with me. I am very new to EQII, in fact, I have only been playing the last few days. I want to take up a skill and am having trouble finding info that will help me. Currently I am a lvl 8 fighter in qeynos and am registered as an outfitter. I want to know what I should do next to continue in my trade. I hear a lot about writs but I am unsure about their importance or where and how to obtain them. Also, I would like to know how to get into one of the societies that will allow me to begin to make stuff. Any help would be much appreciated

You need to join the Wholesaler Society in your home village. Look for the cellar door in the ground then speak to the guy next to it to join.

If you've already chosen Outfitter, you just need to keep crafting and when you ding 10, you'll get the official title of Outfitter.

EQTraders is one of the best websites for crafting info.

I would suggest reading through the following link:

EQTraders is a decent site but last time I checked it out finding anything of use was a real pain and most useful information was burried in half a dozen message posts. Traders would be a good one to go through after you have read through the one above and have a decent foundation.
