What's the best food I can make as an outfitter at lvl 17? Or rather, what's the best recipes in artisan essential recipe books (up to lvl 9 of course) that will give me High Satiation food and drink for power and health regeneration while I'm crafting and adventuring? The easier to make the better....Any tips gratefully digested. Smiley: chug

I made some Frog Legs from the frogs I caught on IoR. They crafted for High Satiation and Duration of 54 minutes.

Not the best of course, but better than store bought. I also made Malted Barley Milk with same characteristics. Both items crafted when I was just level 9 Artisan.

Here's a great link for recipies, although it won't tell you the satiation and duration results. Here.

I'm a 15 Outfitter. I made myself some Creamed Coffee and Sunfish Sandwiches the other night. I was amazed at how much better the regen I got was than with my crappy summoned food. My mana regen went from 30 to 45. Now I really want to try some food that's more my level, but people seem to be charging exhorbitant prices for it on my server. Like 15 - 20 silver EACH.

The sandwiches are High satiation and last over 4 hours. I think the coffee is over 1 hour. You can fish for sunfish in the Peat Bog. Coffee beans are there too, and everything else you need is on the wholesaler tradeskill instance vendor cheap.

Edit: Oh, yeah. You'll notice none of the level one provisioner buffs will do anything to add durability, so I was never able to get a "Pristine". All my info is for regular. My cooking skills are also pretty low, since I only did it like twice before I made these things.

I didn't learn until late into crafting that you don't get Durability buffs until level 10, and then you only get them for the profession you've chosen.

So you may have them at the stove, but you might not have them at the forge.

I wouldn't pay high prices for the player-made food. I can quickly make a 20-stack of "ok" food/drink that, although not the best, is the same as a 2-stack of high quality food/drink.

They both should last the same amount of time, and they both take up the same amount of slots. :)

Only thing I'm not sure of, is a level 10 High Satiation the same regen rage as a level 20 High Satiation? If not, then that expensive player-made food/drink will have value.

Try this, it has everything about food and drink.

Also eqtraders of course, but I like the above link better for provisioner.

The best food products are going to be the "Finished" food products. For example you make a deer steak (food, but not finished) you use the deer steak to make deer pasta or deer jerkey the jerkey will be of better quality then the steak and last longer. From what I've seen the more main steps required in a recipe the better the final product is. I'm not a provisioner but from the small amount of food I've made this seems to be the case PLZ corect me if I'm wrong...

We need more people to make food/water on Grobb. Cheapest I ever can find drink is 5 silver for a 30 minute lvl 20 orange juice. Sorry not paying 5 silver for 30 minute drinks. Food really isn't too bad. I see lvl 20 and lvl 30 food for 1 silver and less all the time.

So for the time being I just use flask of filtered water :/

Bah... don't bother making substandard food. Buy some from a professonal Provisoner. It helps to keep us in business and you get much better food.

A Provisoner (and even the lvl before provisoner) can make you food that lasts over 4 hours. I don't know about your servers but lvl 20 and below food sells for 3-4 silver or max, often less.

Consider it.
