I would like to help you, but I don't know much about laptop computers. You might want to consider rewording your post and giving some more details. How can you expect someone to put a lot of time into an answer if you don't put a lot of time into making your question more readable?

If you have the option, choose a desktop PC to play Everquest II on. It will be much cheaper and you will get better performance for your money. Most laptops on the market, in the lower price range, will either not play Everquest II or play it with some difficulty. Good luck with whatever decision you make.

If you are thinking of playing EQ2 on a laptop, get one with ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 (64Mb minimum) and 1G RAM. Even at highest performance setting, it is baredly playable. Anything less would be unplayable. With intel build-in graphics card and Nvdia laptop series of graphics card, you can forget about it. There are quite a few sites that did laptop graphics card comparison. Using Google will get you to most of them. Like previous poster says, go with a good desktop PC for best experience with EQ2.

A buddy of mine has a laptop, though I dont know what brand, anyways, its got 1GB of RAM and a 128mb NVidia something graphics card, and it runs EQII better than my PC which has the same specs.

Is there a way to change the graphics card in my Laptop? I'm guessing a Desktop Graphics card won't work, will it?

typically no, what you have in a laptop is what you're stuck with forever and ever amen...

rare is the laptop that allows you to change video modules. Rare and VERY expensive.

You can find a lap top to run EQ2 there are a few out there that can, but they are spendy as they are mostly designed for gaming in mind. So unless your intent is for portable gaming I would suggest a desk top system. Also changing out a video card on a laptop is very uncommon as you have to take the whole laptop housing apart to get to it and some systems video cards are build on to the mother board making it unrealistic to even attempt to change it out and extremely expensive. The only really easy part of working on laptops is changing out a hard drive or ram card as there is an access panal on the bottem for that.
