Can Writ's be handled by Solo toon's that are not in a guild ?

I am saying this is because being a part time player and don't have the time to be in a guild ATM. I was thinking about doing something like this. But, of course I am not too sure if this would be worth my time to do.

Yes you do have to be part of a guild to make some writs. Even if you only get part time to play this game, I am sure you can find an helpful guild that would meet your expectations. Most of the non-raiding guilds wont mind much if you can only play that every so often. They will just not put patron status on you. (but you still will be able to make writs to gain personal status ; still, those wont be used as guild advancement)
